It was wonderful to welcome Prime Minister Rishi Sunak back to Chesham and Amersham last week to discuss the Government's new plans to tackle fraud with the local U3A group.
The new plans seek to crack down on spoofing of telephone numbers and cold calling related to financial goods and services.
The PM recognised how many families have been affected by financial scams and the shame felt by many victims. It is great that our Conservative government is committed to tackling this issue and destigmatising those effected.
